After taking her injured daughter to an emergency clinic after hours, in a foreign country where she didn’t speak the local language, Efrat Sagi-Ofir helped develop Air Doctor, an app that connects travellers to local medical professionals for in-person and online consultations. The global network includes 75 countries and 20,000 practitioners.
Bringing travel to underrepresented communities: Bola Ibidapo
Bola Ibidapo co-founded the Too Fly Foundation to enable young students of colour to take part in educational programs abroad. Too Fly provides passports and travel grants to students and student organisations across the US as well as arranging educational programmes designed to inspire a love for travel and equip them with the skills they need to start exploring.
