Not all airport lounges are equal.

Which are the best airport lounges in the world?

Airport lounges are an excellent way to relax, unwind and recharge before a flight. Offering a peaceful and comfortable environment to escape the airport chaos. Some are exceptional, offering top-notch amenities that elevate the airport experience to a new level.

The Wing, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong International Airport

The Wing is one of the most luxurious airport lounges in the world. The lounge is on Level 7 in Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport. This lounge offers a range of amenities, including a full-service bar, shower facilities, a business centre, and a library. The lounge also has a fantastic restaurant serving some of the finest Chinese cuisine at the airport.

The lounge is for First Class Cathay Pacific passengers or Diamond members of the airline’s loyalty program. Access is also given to One World’s Emerald program members (the highest level member). A lounge pass is not available for this lounge without being a loyalty member.

Lufthansa First Class Lounge, Frankfurt Airport

The Lufthansa First Class Lounge at Frankfurt Airport is one of the most exclusive airport lounges in the world. It features a private entrance, a personal assistant, a cigar lounge, a library, and a restaurant with a Michelin-starred chef. The lounge also has a luxurious spa with a sauna and steam room. I am also informed that there is a shower room with a full sized bath – complete with the airline’s signature rubber duck! Access to this lounge is for passengers travelling in First Class only, I am afraid.
