Do you cover extreme snow sports?
There is strictly no cover under the terms and conditions of this policy when engaging in off-piste skiing (unless with a qualified instructor or guide), freestyle skiing, ski-jumping, snow sport acrobatics or stunts, extreme skiing/snowboarding, skeleton and luge or any variations.
Am I covered for competitive sports?
Participation in snow sports in a professional capacity (including training or practice) or on a competitive basis are not covered.
Am I covered when skiing off-piste?
Only if you are skiing with a qualified instructor or guide. In all other cases, skiing off-piste will not be covered.
What equipment does the Snow Pack cover and for how much?
Equipment includes snowboards, skis, bindings, sticks/poles and boots. Snow sports equipment is covered (the maximum amount payable for each insured person is AUD $300). Hired equipment is also covered (the maximum amount payable for each insured person is AUD $300). Exclusions do apply, so please check the PDS and your Certificate of Insurance for full details.
What is the battleface Snow Pack Optional Cover?
Snow Pack cover, when selected, covers equipment loss or damage for skiing and snowboarding. It extends the standard benefits of your policy to include claims which may arise when you are participating in snow sports. No cover will apply in respect of Personal Liability claims.
